I thoroughly enjoyed it, read it three times straight off. Sent it to my menopausal daughter but told her I wanted it back!

Fantastic!!
Absolutely Fantastic, laugh out loud on every page. You will find yourself singing, laughing and laughing some more.
light hearted, highly recommend.
The Menopause Queen
A refreshing, perceptive and witty take on a journey we all share. I laughed and empathized.
Not my mum.
Deliciously smart and funny. Equal parts clever wordplay, keen observation and laugh out loud funny. Genuinely delightful verse.

Loved this!
I'm 47, male, and bought this book for my wife for Christmas. I couldn't resist having a quick flick through and ended up finding resonance in every single poem, and genuinely belly-laughing out loud too! Now I've no option but to buy another copy for my wife, as I've made the first one look secondhand!! Well worth it though, fantastic book of poetry!
Great gift!
Clever humor and self deprecating prose make for a heart lifting read that leaves a smile on your face. A good compliment to a bottle of wine to make a great gift for any occasion. I plan on making this my go-to for all my friends. It’s a no brainer.

Best Book For Quarantine Ever (and for once we are all out too)
If you are a midlife momma or are quarantined with one, get this to soothe those troubled moments. These poems are a perfect antidote to the news, the anxieties, the hormone rages...Sweet, wise, raunchy and so, so funny, Fair to Piddling is an easy, perfect gift for yourself or someone you love.

I'm a London journalist and came across Lizzie's book while researching helpful information for menopausal women - the title made me smile! For all those feeling they are alone on this very rocky road, Fair To Piddling provides some much-needed humour and a sense of instant solidarity.

A delightfully funny, and at times, poignant collection of verse.
In the pandemic era, it's nice to be reminded we once had other concerns. Like hot flashes, graying hair and a memory that's little more than a distant memory. Fair to Piddling is a delightfully funny, and at times poignant, collection of verses about life in one's thirties, forties and fifties. It's hard to pick favorites as each verse brings something new to the table, but 'Insomniaaaargh!' and 'Viking Funeral' stand out, with 'Repurposed' seeing me laughing and crying at the same time. Brilliant. The illustrations are exceptional too.
I intend to purchase the paperback version to compliment the ebook. I'll keep this in view on my shelf to read over and over. Highly recommended.

Hilarious! Support this new author!
Quick witted and clever, the author cuts to the reality of middle aging from the perspective of many of us who are shocked, appalled and then resigned that we are actually here. A fun, quick read and one that can be picked up, thumbed through, and re-read for a guaranteed smile and possibly an unexpected chortle.
